Clark Wood is working with a well-established firm seeking an experienced GP Accounts & Tax Manager to manage a portfolio of General Practitioner clients This role is ideal for someone with strong GP accounts, tax compliance, and NHS Pension Scheme experience who enjoys client-facing advisory work alongside technical delivery. The firm are looking for someone with experience reviewing and managing general practice accounts and tax returns, as well as advsing clients on drawings, withdrawals and tax planning matters. Previous experience in handling NHS Pension Scheme compliance, including AAPSS, Annual Allowance calculations, and RPPS reporting is preffered. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance in line with UK regulations Liaise with HMRC, NHS bodies, and internal teams (UK & India) Review work, resolve technical issues, and maintain high-quality standards Support and mentor team members where required Contribute to process improvements and efficient workflow management What Were Looking For Proven experience working with GP clients (essential) Strong knowledge of UK tax and NHS Pension Scheme requirements Excellent client communication and relationship management skills Well-organised, deadline-driven, and collaborative Qualified by experience or with a relevant accounting/tax qualification This is an excellent opportunity for a GP specialist looking to take ownership of a varied and rewarding portfolio within a supportive, professional environment.
