Preparing statutory accounts to review / partner sign-off stageAccounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesPreparing corporation tax computations and returnsPreparation and submission of VAT returnsReviewing bookkeeping and correcting client recordsCompleting accounts from incomplete or poor-quality recordsWorking extensively with Xero (and associated apps)Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and obtain informationSupporting and reviewing junior team members where requiredWorking with managers on more complex or group entities What you'll need to succeedProven experience within a UK accountancy practiceMinimum requirement: ability to prepare a full set of statutory accounts for review/sign-offStrong experience reviewing bookkeeping and dealing with incomplete recordsConfident user of XeroExperience with corporation tax and VAT complianceComfortable with regular client liaisonAAT, ACA or ACCA (qualified or studying) welcomed, but practical experience is keyOrganised, commercially aware, and capable of working independently
