Are you practical, enjoy fixing things, and looking for a role where your skills make a real difference to people's lives? We're looking for a Field Service Engineer / Technician to join our team at the Herefordshire Wheelchair Service centre.
This is a rewarding hands-on position maintaining and repairing manual and powered wheelchairs for NHS wheelchair users across Herefordshire. Every day, your work will directly support people's independence, mobility, and quality of life.
About Us
TPG DisableAids is a well-established family business serving Herefordshire since 1985. We are a market-leading supplier of assistive technology, providing equipment, servicing, and support across an 80-mile radius of Hereford. * Properly recording all work completed on a daily basis.
Additional warehouse duties may be required from time to time, keeping the team running smoothly.
About You

* A confident user of hand tools with good fault-finding ability.
* Practical, hands-on, and enjoy problem solving.
* Able to deliver excellent customer service with an empathetic approach.
* Positive, reliable, and keen to learn.
Previous wheelchair or healthcare equipment experience is desirable but not essential – if you're handy with tools and willing to learn, we'll train you
Once fully trained, you can also take part in our on-call rota, responding to urgent repairs outside of normal hours to help maintain continuity of service for our wheelchair users.
