We are supporting our client in hiring a Financial Accountant to join their Group Consolidation Team. This role will help manage monthly and annual consolidations and support international finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Support group consolidations and issue consolidation timetables
* Coordinate data uploads and assist subsidiaries with queries and training
* Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments (IFRS 3, 5, 16)
* Maintain consolidation scope, investment registers, and capital structure entries
* Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors
* Complete consolidation journals, balance sheet reviews, and ad-hoc finance tasks
* Provide occasional cover for the Consolidation Finance Manager
Skills & Experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with consolidation experience
* Strong IFRS knowledge and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
* Experience with pension accounting is beneficial
* Proficient in Office 365
