An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing not for profit organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge. This role is an ongoing temporary position, expected to be for a few months to help the team through a period of transition. Within this role, you will report into the Financial Controller.
As the incoming Accounts Assistant, you will be tasked with the following duties:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Importing staff expenses into Sage
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Assisting with payment runs
- Raising sales invoices
As the successful candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working in a similar role, with good knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. You will also be an effective communicator, have good organisational skills and work to a high degree of accuracy. Experience with Sage 200 would be considered advantageous.
