The Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting warehouse operations and any projects as assigned. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Technician is to support the Warehouse Supervisor in responding to the operational requirements and in delivering equipment to the company prescribed standards, shipping/receiving of orders, quality control, inventory control and other warehouse related logistics.

Key Job Responsibilities
Inbound/Outbound Order Processing, including:
* Accurately receiving, shipping, and labeling product
* Picking up product from inventoried locations and packing orders efficiently and accurately for delivery
* Performing basic quality control procedures and inventory control
* Cleaning, testing, maintaining, preparing, and repairing equipment prior to delivery
Logistics and Transportation, including:
* Preparing and processing shipments
* Operating industrial powered forklifts
Safety, including:
* Performing daily checklists on forklifts and other equipment
* Participating in safety team initiatives
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Reporting health and safety issues to the HSE Manager or Warehouse Manager
Warehouse Housekeeping, including:
* Maintaining a safe work area
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment as necessary
Customer Service, including:
* Delivering World Class Service and maintaining operation efficiency
* Maintaining a working knowledge of equipment
Job Qualifications
* High School diploma or GCSE equivalent
* 1 to 3 years’ experience in a warehouse environment
* Ability to lift over 50 lbs. independently
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
* Strong communication skills with other team members, site leadership team, and internal and external customers
* Organisational skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
* Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office
* Experience using an RF-based WMS system (preferred)
* Experience operating industrial forklift equipment

Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, sand, and/or dust. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore.
