Overview
This position is working with a well-established upholstery company looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing departments. This role is key to ensuring high-quality output across Upholstery, Chair Building, and Screen Building operations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support small teams within Upholstery, Chair Building, and Screen Building departments
* Ensure daily output targets and quality standards are consistently met
* Monitor workmanship and identify areas for improvement
* Provide clear instructions, guidance, and direction to team members
* Encourage accountability and ownership of work within teams
* Support and promote multi-skilling and cross-training across departments
* Identify training needs and assist with staff development
* Work closely with management to improve processes and efficiency
* Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
