About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Assembly Operatives to join our Clients team in Middlesbrough, TS6. The Client is a large manufacturer of steel doors who, as their company grows rapidly, require additional members to join their team.
Additional roles they're looking for:
* CNC Operatives (TRUMPF CNC punch/press brake experience), £28k per annum
* Powder Coaters (experienced) £27k per annum
This is a temp to perm role, where after a probation period you will be permanent with the Client. This is a hands-on role supporting the production of steel doors, ensuring all products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with the manufacturing, production and assembly of steel doors
* Assembling doors, including ironmongery and woodwork
* Inspecting finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
* Using and maintaining hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Following health & safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools required
* Experience in manual assembly work required
* Joinery-bias desirable
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards
What We Offer
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.98 (£27,000 per annum)
* Overtime after 40 hours Monday to Friday £19.47 per hour
* Pay x 1.5 on Saturdays £19.47
* Pay x 2 on Sundays £25.96 per hour
Once Perm With the Client
* 24 holidays (plus bank holidays), increasing by 1 day for every year of service up to 4 years
* Health Plan, including money back on dental and eye tests, as well as discounted gym memberships once probation is passed
* Eligible for a profit share scheme once probation is passed, paid Quarterly
