A welcoming and inclusive Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This role involves supporting children with mild autism within a well:resourced Special Educational Needs Unit.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with mild autism
*
Supporting learning within the schools Special Needs Unit
*
Assisting with the delivery of tailored interventions and personalised learning plans
*
Promoting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
*
Encouraging social interaction and independence
*
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*
Have previous experience supporting children with Autism (ASD)
*
Demonstrate patience, empathy and strong communication skills
*
Have a good understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive practice
*
Be proactive, reliable and committed to making a difference
*
Hold relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
