Overview
Active Directory SME – Knutsford (on-site 3 days per week). Occasional travel to Manchester may be required. Duration: 10 months. Rate £478. MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA.
Responsibilities
* Analyze & Prioritize Findings: Review AD security findings, assess severity, and determine remediation actions.
* Implement Fixes: Apply configuration hardening, update GPOs, correct permissions, resolve insecure settings, and remediate privileged groups or service accounts.
* Clean Up AD Objects: Remove or fix stale, orphaned, or misconfigured accounts, computers, and SPNs.
* Coordinate Changes: Work with AD, IAM, platform, and application teams to validate and implement changes through proper change control processes.
* Document & Report: Record remediation steps, update tracking logs, and provide clear status updates to security and project stakeholders.
* Improve Sustainability: Recommend process improvements and help establish ongoing monitoring and governance to prevent recurrence.
