JOB TITLE – Unqualified Nursery Assistant
ABOUT THE ROLE
Prospero Teaching is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Unqualified Nursery Assistant to work across nurseries in Bristol.
Working hours are flexible and can include full-day shifts, morning shifts, or afternoon shifts, depending on availability and nursery requirements.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior childcare experience who is seeking to build their career in Early Years-no qualifications required.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location: Bristol
2. Position: Unqualified Nursery Assistant
3. Pay: £16 per hour
4. Hours: Flexible – full day, AM shifts, or PM shifts
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND REQUIREMENTS
5. No formal qualifications needed
6. Previous childcare experience is mandatory
7. Experience supporting young children in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
8. A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
9. Up-to-date safeguarding training (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
10. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
11. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
12. Provide two childcare-related references covering the last 2 years
