Electrical Engineer
Location: Penrith (Rural)
Salary: up to £55,000
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Key responsibilities:
6. Maintain, repair, and install manufacturing production equipment, supporting both electrical and some mechanical needs
7. Quickly respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
8. Diagnose and repair faults on PLC and electronically controlled equipment
9. Ensure all work complies with health and safety, HACCP, and hygiene requirements
10. Follow a detailed, methodical approach to fault finding and repair
11. Provide onsite support for continuous improvement projects
12. Communicate any delays or issues clearly to relevant parties
About you:
13. Understanding of PLC and electronic controlled equipment with experience diagnosing faults
14. Qualification to the latest IEE wiring regulations desirable but not essential
15. Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
16. Good communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships
17. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
18. Good time management skills to keep factory running smoothly
19. Strong understanding of food hygiene standards
20. Team player, willing to support others through busy periods
21. Full driving licence
