Job Description
To deliver programs of learning in appropriate Foundation Apprenticeship subject areas to groups of students, in accordance with the national Scottish Qualification Agency (SQA) and Skills Development Scotland (SDS). The role involves providing support, guidance, and advice to service users, Council staff, and local companies as part of the wider Foundation Apprenticeship team.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Fixed term for a period not exceeding 01/05/2026

Requirements
* This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
