These are 9 month contracts with a strong likelihood of extension Role description: A semi-skilled person responsible for supporting cable installation including cable reeve, cable supports and gland packing. Other ancillary responsibilities may include the cleanliness and care and protection of all areas of the ship including all fitted equipment. You must have electrical background for this role. Core duties: Electrical background Cable containment Cable installation and reeving Chunking and supports Cable packing systems Upkeep of shipyard facilities Shift patterns can vary: Standard - Locals: £17.01 PAYE Non locals: £25.06 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available) Nights - Locals: £22.69 PAYE Non locals: £30.69 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available) Full rate card available on request No less than 37 hours worked a week Overtime available but not guaranteed 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays These are immediate starts subject to security clearance.
