As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
* Possess broad data engineering skills, with experience in Microsoft Azure.
* Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues, demonstrating interpersonal skills across technical and business domains.
* Work collaboratively to develop performant end-to-end data solutions.
* Deliver high-quality work, escalate issues appropriately, and propose solutions.
* Contribute to building the consulting practice through knowledge sharing and data services.
* Successfully deliver commercial projects leveraging relevant technologies.
* Oversee junior staff, including mentoring and work review, ensuring project and organizational standards are met.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Designing and delivering data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Fabric.
* Proficiency in SQL and Python.
* Experience with relational SQL databases, on-premises or cloud-based.
* Delivering solutions involving Governance, Architecture, Data Modelling, ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, Master Data, and BI.
* Understanding of engineering delivery processes including Agile, DevOps, Git, APIs, Containers, Microservices, and Data Pipelines.
* Experience with Spark, Kafka, or Snowflake is advantageous.
Nice to have certifications:
* Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
