Bank General Assistant
Job Description:
We are recruiting a multi-purpose role to cover Kitchen and Domestic/ Housekeeper/ Laundry duties as and when required. To begin with, these are bank shifts to cover periods of holiday/sickness within the Kitchen Team and the Housekeeping Team. However, our intention is to make this a fixed contract role as soon as possible.
You will ideally be qualified with Basic Food Hygiene Certificate to level 2 or 3 but not essential. Experience working within Care Homes, Schools and Hotels/Guest Houses would be desirable but also not essential.
Key Tasks
* To maintain appropriate workflow in the kitchen by assuring prompt clearing and washing of dishes, crockery, pots and pans.
* To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen, dining and storage areas & throughout the care home.
* To ensure all dining and Bistro areas are kept tidy, set up and well stocked with food, beverages, cutlery and crockery.
* To carry out cleaning & sanitising duties in bedrooms/communal areas & offices.
* To work in our laundry.
* To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of Crown Care Group.
