ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Generate (break down) rack locations to create space for new stock. • Maintain inventory controls by stowing stock away in the relevant location. • Prepare production orders by processing T-Cards (Material Requested); pulling materials, made ready for collection, delivered by trailer. • Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, pulling materials, banding and labelling consignments, ready for vehicle loading on the night shift. • Prepare customer orders by processing delivery ticket requests, finding material location and preparing (writing up) all tickets, ready for pulling on the night shift. • Correctly complete delivery tickets and return to the ticket holding area. • Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported to the warehouse supervisor or the stock checker or manager. • Ensure PPE is worn at all times in the warehouse. • Maintain equipment by performing ‘Before Use Checks’ and reporting any faults, via management, to the maintenance team. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping all racking and floor areas free from waste. • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing other tasks as specified by your line managers.
