Overview
Aspire People are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools across Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a classroom environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to class teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
* Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
* Support pupils with additional needs to ensure inclusive learning.
* Help create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (desirable).
* A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are advantageous.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
