Position Overview
You will play a crucial role in providing a high-quality service to clients facing a range of family law matters. You will handle a varied and rewarding caseload, providing clear guidance and representation on matters including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, and domestic abuse. Throughout, you'll benefit from dedicated secretarial support to help you focus on delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a varied caseload of family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements and domestic abuse cases
2. Provide sensitive and professional advice to clients on complex family matters
3. Represent clients at court hearings, mediation sessions and other legal proceedings
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and clear, compassionate communication
5. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services
6. Stay up-to-date with changes in family law and legal procedures to provide the most current advice to clients
Requirements
7. Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years' PQE (preferred)
8. Strong knowledge of family law and legal procedures
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently
11. Demonstrated commitment to client-focused service delivery
12. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
