Project Planner £47 - £63.40 per hour Morson are currently supporting the recruitment of a critical defence project that seen an upsurge in activity for one of our clients. We're recruiting for Project Planners to support the increased demand and work closely with the project delivery team to develop and manage Project Plans. Focusing on developing and managing project plans you will be part of a dynamic team of 5-6 professionals. Operating according to the standard PMO model, you will collaborate with other planners to ensure consistent, structured project planning and delivery, following established best practices and processes. The role is being offered on an initial 12-month contract, with opportunity to be extended. We can offer hybrid working, with a minimum expectation of 2 days a week onsite in Frimley. The rate of pay for the role is £47 per hour PAYE or £63.40 per hour Umbrella inside IR35. Role Description Apply project planning techniques to several small projects concurrently. Perform project reporting & scheduling across various projects. Translate project reports into commercially driven insight reports. Administration of reports/spreadsheets. Manage the project processes on a full project lifecycle to ensure that, financial and other benefits are achieved. Identify, assess and mitigate risks to the success of the project. Provide coherent advice to further organisational objectives. This is a role for an experienced project professional within a small team. Requirements Project planning experience demonstrated in a professional capacity. Extensive knowledge of Primavera P6 Software Knowledge of different project planning policies and procedures, tools, techniques and practices. Good knowledge and experience of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews. Experience of building relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal and external stakeholders. Able to deliver problem solving techniques to situations of moderate complexity, taking requirements and data from internal and external sources. Previous diplomacy experience in order to work across business boundaries. Desirable Experience Prior experience of supporting defence projects. Application of several Project Management competencies to previous projects. Able to communicate complex and sensitive information. A University Degree in project planning or engineering. A PM Qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification. Experience as an Assessor for LCM Reviews. Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be SC cleared or eligible for this level of clearance before starting on site ADZN1_UKTJ
