What skills and experience we are looking for: We are seeking an inspirational and nurturing individual who is highly motivated and resilient, ready to support our wonderful children at Studley Infants. The ideal candidate will be flexible and patient, with experience in working with children with additional needs and a strong foundation in early years education. A commitment to fostering a passion for learning and a curious mindset are essential attributes for this role. You will be responsible for: • Support with learning within the classroom • Specific support for individual children and/or groups of children that have Education and Health Care Plans • Assist teachers with the delivery of lessons, including taking the class to enable the teacher to work with individual and groups of children. • Contributing to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children Your qualities will include: • Recognised NVQ level 2 qualification • Experience as a teaching assistant • Experience of working with children with additional needs • Ability to use initiative, be flexible, communicate effectively and work as a team • Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
