Mechanical & Electrical Engineer
Location: Thetford, Norwich, and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,834 - £41,210 (depending on experience)
Are you an experienced M&E Engineer with strong air conditioning knowledge, looking for a new opportunity in facilities management? This field-based role offers the chance to work across a portfolio of commercial sites, providing both planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring high standards of service and safety.
What you'll be doing:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
* Diagnosing and resolving faults across a range of equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Providing technical support and first-line response to emergencies.
* Liaising directly with clients and site teams to deliver an exceptional service.
* Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior engineers.
What we're looking for:
* Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in M&E services or building maintenance.
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within commercial or retail environments.
* 18th Edition, F-Gas, and Test & Inspection qualifications (essential).
* Proven ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* IT proficiency for record keeping and service reporting.
* Valid UK driving licence.
Additional information:
* Field-based position, requiring travel between client sites.
* Participation in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 4 weeks).
