Research Nurse – Clinical Research Study
Location: Wirral (Mobile Research Unit)
Contract: Ongoing study role

We are seeking an experienced Research Nurse to support delivery of a clinical research study based on the Wirral. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role within a mobile research setting, supporting participants throughout their study journey from screening and enrolment through to follow-up.
This role is well suited to a confident Research Nurse who enjoys clinical work and wants to contribute to high-quality research within a supportive and fast-moving team environment.
Role Overview
You will deliver study visits in line with protocol and Good Clinical Practice, ensuring high standards of participant care, safety and data quality. You will work closely with the site team to ensure clinics run smoothly and recruitment and retention targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver participant visits in line with study protocol and GCP
* Perform clinical assessments including observations, ECGs and phlebotomy
* Support screening, enrolment and follow-up visits
* Maintain accurate study documentation and case report forms
* Ensure safe handling and storage of clinical samples and materials
* Support recruitment and retention of participants
* Work closely with the site team to ensure smooth clinic delivery
* Maintain high standards of patient care, safety and confidentiality
Essential Experience
* Registered Nurse with active NMC registration
* Previous experience working in clinical research
* Confident performing standard clinical procedures
* Strong understanding of ICH-GCP
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
* Community or mobile healthcare experience
* Experience in metabolic, obesity or lifestyle studies
* Familiarity with electronic clinical or research systems
Other Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to travel locally if required
* Flexible approach to working hours
