Job Description The People & Onboarding Coordinator is an entry-level HR apprenticeship role designed to support the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on HR administration, onboarding, and data integrity. The role also provides exposure to recruitment coordination and employer branding/marketing activity. This position plays a key role in delivering a positive employee experience while developing practical HR knowledge alongside formal apprenticeship learning. Job Requirements Essential skills CIPD qualification or working towards a relevant qualification. Strong organisational and administrative skills High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Confident communicator with employees, managers, and external partners Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Willingness to learn HR systems, processes, and employment legislation. Good IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office Proactive, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities Desirable skills Previous HR or administrative or customer-facing experience Experience Knowledge of HRIS, LMS systems Knowledge of Telecoms Industry Job Responsibilities HR Operations & People Support (75%) Provide comprehensive HR administration support, including maintaining employee records and documentation Update and manage HR documentation, such as the Hotel Guide and Employee Benefits packs Act as HR Data Champion, supporting: Data deletions Archiving Regular data cleansing in line with GDPR and company policy Support HRIS data implementation and system functionality, acting as a key system owner and first point of contact for data accuracy Assist with HR process improvements and change implementation, ensuring updates are communicated and documented. Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access, documentation, and checklists. Support changes to contracts, agreements, and processes Manage contractor setup, renewals, and IR35 determinations Assist with monthly payroll submissions, ensuring accurate and timely data (Lifecycle changes). Support employee relations activities, escalating issues appropriately Provide employee and manager advice and guidance on policies and procedures, HR processes and best practice. Assist with audit preparation, policy updates, and compliance activities Produce and support HR data analytics and reporting, ensuring accurate people metrics Support employee wellbeing and health initiatives, signposting resources where appropriate Assist with employee engagement and social activities, helping to foster a positive cultur R ecruitment & Pre-boarding (15%) Responsible for managing the Recruitment Inbox, responding to candidate queries and managing communication. Responsible for managing the full recruitment process. Support recruitment administration (such as job descriptions and job adverts). Support managers through the hiring process, on our HRIS system, through to Hiring. Conduct pre screens, provide feedback and advice to managers. Issue all offer documentation and coordinate Induction days. Complete pre-employment and pre-boarding checks ensuring compliance with company standards Marketing & Engagement Support (10%) Provide marketing support related to employer branding, early careers, and internal communications. Assist with apprenticeship support programmes and administration Assist with Work Experience Programme, including scheduling and communication Assist with company culture and employee engagement initiatives and activities.
