Job Description
Effectively manage early learning and childcare for children aged 0-8 years and support the integration of universal services within a specified locality. Assist in promoting, delivering, and integrating the Council's key objectives, particularly in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The role involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or update their existing membership before an offer of employment is made by East Ayrshire Council.
PVG records are continuously updated. Any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a permanent, full-time, term-time position based at Darvel Early Childhood Centre, Darvel.
Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
The full-time annual salary ranges from £55,201 to £60,315, with the actual term-time salary between £47,345 and £51,731.
