We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our busy Accounts Payable team. Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead a team of Supplier Management Officers, overseeing daily activities to meet team objectives and KPIs, such as timely supplier payments, risk management, reconciliations, and invoicing compliance.
Your responsibilities include managing performance, payment runs, KPI setting, and supplier account monitoring. Excellent communication skills are vital for liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of purchase ordering systems is advantageous.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a similar environment, with a professional, hardworking, flexible, organised, and customer-focused approach.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead a team of Supplier Management Officers
* Plan and monitor workload
* Manage Purchase Ledger functions including payments
* Process ad hoc payments
* Monitor supplier accounts
* Perform monthly aged creditor and intercompany reconciliations
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Adflex payment reconciliation
* Collaborate with other teams
* Handle complex issues and queries
