£55,000–£65,000 + excellent benefits
A growing and forward‑thinking UK wholesale organisation is undergoing a major transformation, and we're looking for a Senior FP&A Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future of the business. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high‑impact role, delivering clear financial insight, improving planning processes, and supporting strategic decision‑making at pace.
If you're analytical, commercially minded, and ready to influence meaningful change, this is an excellent next step in your career.
Why this role matters
The organisation is strengthening its wholesale proposition, expanding its customer base, and investing in new capabilities to support long‑term growth. To deliver on these ambitions, high‑quality financial insight and robust planning are essential.
In this role, you'll sit at the centre of performance management — helping ensure the business invests wisely, stays on track, and makes decisions grounded in solid financial analysis.
What you'll do
As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will:
Support the coordination and delivery of budgets and forecasts
Manage the rolling forecast cycle, providing clear commentary and insight
Contribute to monthly performance reviews and track key business initiatives
Develop insightful reporting to help teams understand and manage costs
Support strategic planning and alignment across the organisation
Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions where needed
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes
Work collaboratively with colleagues across finance and the wider business
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with:
A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) — or actively studying towards one
Experience in FP&A, financial planning, reporting, or business partnering
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insight
Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
A proactive, collaborative, and inquisitive mindset
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems or planning tools
Benefits
You'll be joining a supportive, purpose‑led organisation committed to professional growth and wellbeing. Benefits include:
Private healthcare
Annual performance‑based bonus
28 days holiday (rising to 32 with service) + bank holidays
Pension with up to 10% employer contribution
Access to a subsidised onsite gym (specific location)
Ongoing coaching, training, and development opportunities
Access to earned‑wage financial wellbeing tools
Location & Hybrid Working
This role is based in Scunthorpe, with hybrid working available. You'll spend time each week in the office, with flexibility to work from home on agreed days.
