This job has arisen to cover a permanent member of staff and is to teach a Year 3 class full time.
The school is a small single form entry primary school inTrafford with an excellent reputation backed by a 'Good' Ofsted inspection. The teaching staff provide a wide range of stimulating activities, taught through an engaging curriculum, catering for children of all abilities. The school has been described as having a calm and friendly atmosphere throughout, created by a dedicated and professional staff and children who are motivated and happy.
Responsibilities:
7. Planning, preparing & delivering of the current National Curriculum.
8. Providing engaging and interactive lessons.
9. Adhering to school policies and procedures.
10. Promoting equal opportunities.
11. Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress.
12. Assisting with extracurricular activities, such as trips, sporting events, clubs etc.
Requirements:
13. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
14. Key Stage 2 experience
15. Excellent organisational skills
16. Proven ability to raise standards and attainment levels
17. Enthusiasm, commitment and flexibility
