Position: As a Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) Manager, you will be responsible for developing practices within our workplace to ensure health & safety and environmental standards on-site, ensuring work is undertaken safely. You will also conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards.
This is a very hands-on Health and Safety role, where experience in the construction industry is crucial for directly impacting how safely and sustainably we operate. This role offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity for a Health and Safety professional who thrives in the built environment and wants to lead initiatives from the front line.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Champion health and safety across the company, working with teams to ensure safety is a priority.
Manage sites on all relevant aspects of SHEQ, focusing on safe working methods and risk reduction systems.
Support site management to keep documentation up to date and report issues.
Lead and support external audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Provide support on systems such as HandsHQ, MyCompliance, IMS, SharePoint, Peoplesafe, and deliver SHEQ-related training.
Requirements: NEBOSH Certification or equivalent H&S qualification.
A full UK driving license, as travel between sites using a personal vehicle is required.
Experience in health and safety, site inspections, and incident reporting.
