Purpose of role:
The Middle Weight Motion Graphics Designer will be working as part of the Creative team studio for one of our clients, a busy in-house design team based in Canary Wharf that responds to numerous briefs daily. The team includes Developers, Designers, Motion Graphics and a Film and Photography team.
The Middle Weight Motion Graphics Designer will have a creative focus and be driven to produce high-quality deliverables and solutions within the client brand guidelines, while supporting the Video Production and MGFX Team Leaders.
Key responsibilities:
1. Take briefs from clients whilst advising them on the best technical and design solution
2. Help clients to choose effective and functional designs and deliverables within their time frames
3. Excellent communications skills with the ability to liaise at all levels (client, team, manager)
4. Negotiate and manage deadlines
5. Follow standards and digital client guidelines for branded materials
6. Ensure all quality review checklists are completed and standards are maintained
Requirements:
7. Essential: After Effects & Photoshop
8. Bonus: Audition, Cinema 4D, Illustrator, Premiere & After Effects Expressions
9. Work experience as a Mid Motion graphics designer
10. Creative problem solver
11. Strong level of technical and creative design knowledge
12. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
13. Calm and mature personality with the ability to work both on own initiative and in a team environment, often under pressure and to strict deadlines
14. Collaborative and proactive approach
