Job Description
Join a well‑established residential developer as a Development Engineer, playing a vital role in shaping successful housing projects. You’ll be the technical expert guiding developments from land acquisition through adoption, ensuring smooth delivery and compliance every step of the way.
You’ll be managing tenders for road and sewer works, oversee Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements, and coordinate site investigations and reports on flood risk, ecology and transport. You’ll review technical and legal documentation to spot risks and abnormal costs, while working closely with consultants, contractors and local authorities to keep projects on track.
You’ll also support land acquisitions and feasibility studies, prepare contract and compliance documentation, and help discharge planning and NHBC conditions, with strong communication skills and a solid grasp of roads, sewers and SUDS requirements.
We’re looking for a motivated, collaborative person who is eager to learn and happy working independently. AutoCAD experience is a plus, but more important is your positive attitude and drive to support the wider business.
