Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance & Operations
o Deliver planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works in line with contractual KPIs and SFG20 standards
o Carry out fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems
o Take full ownership of tasks from initial call-out through to completion, ensuring accurate documentation throughout
* Technical & Compliance
o Diagnose system faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and provide clear technical reports
o Maintain accurate F-Gas records, site logbooks, and upload all documentation to the CAFM system
o Ensure all works comply with current legislation, company procedures, and health & safety standards
* Client & Team Engagement
o Build and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives
o Work collaboratively with engineering colleagues and wider teams to achieve service objectives
o Provide a professional, customer-focused service at all times
* Efficiency & Improvement
o Manage materials and spares efficiently, identifying shortages and opportunities for improvement
o Proactively identify risks and hazards, taking action to maintain a safe working environment
o Contribute ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and overall service delivery
* Flexibility
o Participate in overtime and additional works as required to meet operational demands and urgent maintenance needs
Requirements Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience as an AC/Refrigeration Engineer
* Relevant qualifications, including NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 (6187 or equivalent)
* F-Gas Handling & Management (City & Guilds 2079) certification
* Cat 02 certification (or equivalent)
Skills & Competencies
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience using CAFM systems, ideally via handheld devices
* Excellent time management with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
* Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
