Hours of work: 37 per week.
Working pattern: Full-time, term‑time only (working for 40 weeks per year plus 6.2 weeks annual leave).
As the position is term‑time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

Cradle Hill Community Primary School is seeking an organised, proactive and friendly School Secretary to join our busy and welcoming school office. As a central figure in our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of school operations and providing exceptional support to pupils, parents, staff and the senior leadership team.
This varied and rewarding role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities and a warm, approachable manner. Responsibilities
* A Champion for Arbor MIS, ensuring accurate and timely updates for parents and pupils.
* Able to manage admissions processes, including ongoing applications.
* Enjoy supporting new Reception intake alongside the EYFS Lead (April–September).
* Oversee end‑of‑year processes (June/July).
* Able to lead on DFE reporting, including Census submissions.
* Assist in managing FSM/PP information and updates.
* Experienced in completing Assessment Data Reporting (May–July).
* Act as the main PA to the Head Teacher, including minute taking and diary support.
* Assist the Business Manager monitor HR absence and complete returns to the Local Authority.
* Able to support recruitment administration, including arranging interviews, DBS processing and ID verification.
* Knowledgeable and flexible or have transferable skills in using and supporting school applications, platforms & systems.
* Enjoy events and operations support for the school and community.
