Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee the daily operations of our deli department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality service and products. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, team management, and a commitment to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage the deli team, ensuring efficient operations and high standards of customer service.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices in all aspects of food production.
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, hospitality skills, and customer service excellence.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health regulations.
Requirements
* Proven supervisory experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
* Previous experience in hospitality or kitchen environments is preferred.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to effectively engage with both customers and team members.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
