Job Description
Home Instead focuses on providing a premium service, primarily to private pay clients. We only deliver 1 hour minimum care visits, we always introduce our staff to our clients and we match them too, so our they have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.
Being part of our field support team, you will:
1. Be part of the on-call rota.
2. Carry out Introduction visits with clients and new Care Assistants.
3. Complete and file associated administration following, meetings, visits, reviews, assessments etc.
4. Auditing of visits notes via our in-house platform Access Care Planning.
5. Maintain regular communication with Care Assistant and Team Leaders.
6. Companionship - ensuring our clients enjoy regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
7. Home Help - helping with everyday tasks such as shopping, meal preparation, light housework and accompanying clients to appointments and activities
8. Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Qualifications
Ideally you will hold Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Adult Social Care, but we will aim to provide you with further training and development oportunities. You will need to be caring, dependable, organised and reliable, an excellent timekeeper and I.T. Literate.
9. You will be required to work 4 days per week, including evenings, plus every other weekend. We will then aim to to build a schedule that works for you and for us.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES THAT THE APPLICANT:
10. RESIDES IN THE UK AND HAS THE RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK
11. HAS A VALID DRIVING LICENCE AND ACCESS TO RELIABLE TRANPORT .
