What you'll be doing day to day
1. Lead and develop business support teams, ensuring effectiveness, collaboration, and continuous improvement
2. Provide line management for Business Support Managers and central teams, setting clear responsibilities and performance standards
3. Drive process optimisation and quality improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and profitability
4. Enhance client experience by implementing best practices and working with firmwide teams for seamless service delivery
5. Support strategic projects and initiatives, including testing and implementing new processes
6. Manage the business support budget and monitor performance against KPIs
7. Build strong relationships with Partners, Directors, and business support networks to influence outcomes and drive operational excellence
8. Oversee team capacity, workflow, and service delivery while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and inclusion
9. Coach and develop team members, contribute to reward discussions, and promote ESG, sustainability, and diversity initiatives
About you
10. Degree-level education or equivalent professional qualification
11. Proven experience in a professional services environment
12. Strong understanding of administration, business processes, and workflows
13. Experience improving processes and delivering projects in BAU settings
14. Ability to develop strategies for effective reporting and compliance
15. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
16. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
17. High attention to detail and commitment to quality
18. Excellent communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences
19. Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise effectively
20. Flexible, proactive, and open to change
