TPS Business Development Manager
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, including Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, and Volkswagen vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce, committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that encourages learning and development.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the TPS Area Sales Manager, the BDM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, growing a loyal customer base, and delivering excellent customer service as a brand and product expert.
* Develop and implement sales strategies with the ASM and Centre Managers to increase revenues and maintain customer loyalty
* Achieve KPIs and revenue targets within your territory
* Identify and develop new customer accounts
* Support marketing initiatives and monitor their success
* Report on sales and marketing performance
* Utilize market data to identify sales opportunities
* Understand the TPS brand and product range, including genuine vs non-genuine parts, to overcome sales objections
* Manage your time effectively to maximize customer visits
* Collaborate with colleagues to leverage customer visits and call objectives
Stakeholder Management
* Update key stakeholders on sales performance
* Manage support from business investor partners and TPS investors
* Contribute to Business Improvement Plans
Customer Experience
* Maintain relationships with all customers
* Provide knowledgeable, responsive, and courteous service
What are we looking for?
* Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
* Experience in creating strategies and managing activities to grow business
* Business financial awareness to identify risks and opportunities
* Experience managing national campaigns
* Ability to lead and motivate a team in a B2B or automotive environment
* Understanding of core processes for centre excellence
* High IT literacy
* Minimum GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
