Job Title: Business Support Officer (Term time only)
Location: Ealing Education Centre, UB6 9EH - fully office based
Hourly rate £18.86 PAYE / £24.92 Umbrella per hour
Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours (Term time only)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you an organised, proactive, and tech-savvy administrator with a passion for education and professional development? Ealing Council is seeking a Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team at the Ealing Education Centre (EEC). This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting training and development for school staff and governors across the borough.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Provide a welcoming and professional reception service at the EEC.
Manage bookings, events, and training programmes using Ealing CPD Online.
Support the delivery of professional development projects and school effectiveness services.
Coordinate marketing, communications, and financial processes for training events.
Liaise with schools, training providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with the induction and supervision of temporary staff and trainees.
Contribute to the ongoing development of systems and services.✅ What We're Looking For
Strong administrative experience, ideally in an education or training environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online systems (e.g., CPD Online, finance systems).
Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Experience in financial processes such as invoicing, purchase orders, and budget tracking.
A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.🎓 Qualifications & Experience
Evidence of relevant training or qualifications, or equivalent experience.
Experience in coordinating events, managing data, and supporting web-based systems.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders in a professional setting.
