Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be responsible for: Accurate coding, processing, and review of purchase ledger invoices and purchase orders (POs) Processing employee expense claims and ensuring compliance with group expense policies Inputting expense claims into accounting ledgers Reconciling key purchase ledger control accounts Preparing payment runs for review, approval, and processing Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong vendor relationships Candidate Requirements We are looking for candidates with: Experience in accounts payable, purchase ledger, or finance administration Strong organisational and time management skills Confidence in challenging processes and escalating issues appropriately Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders A proactive and self-motivated approach to work Awareness of financial regulations and industry developments You do not need to be a qualified accountant, but you should be comfortable working with financial data and systems.
