ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Groundworker (Drainage Works) to join our team on a busy project in Kent. You will be responsible for carrying out drainage installations and associated groundwork activities, working safely and efficiently as part of a well-organised site team. A valid dumper ticket is essential for this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Carrying out drainage works including trenching, pipe laying, and backfilling Installing, repairing, and maintaining drainage systems including pipes, manholes, and chambers Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently to support site operations Working in and around excavations, following all RAMS and safe systems of work Assisting with setting out and working to levels and gradients Ensuring all work is completed in line with site specifications and health & safety standards Working alongside plant operators and other trades on site Reading and interpreting site drawings and plans Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment REQUIREMENTS: Valid CSCS Card (essential) CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper ticket (essential) Proven experience in drainage and general groundwork activities Good understanding of drainage systems, levels, and site practices Ability to work safely in and around excavations Able to read and interpret site drawings and plans Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team Right to work in the UK DESIRABLE: Confined Space Training Additional CPCS / NPORS plant tickets* Previous experience on construction or civil engineering projects 3–5 years of groundwork or drainage experience * Please note: to comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram.
