Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Lincoln. This is an exciting opportunity to support students across different year groups and contribute to their academic and personal development.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher.
2. Provide targeted intervention and support to small groups and individual students.
3. Assist in lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
4. Support students with additional learning needs.
5. Collaborate with teachers to implement effective learning strategies.
Requirements:
1. HLTA qualification or extensive experience as a Teaching Assistant with leadership responsibilities.
2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver pre-planned lessons.
3. A passion for education and helping students succeed.
4. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
