Shropshire Council is looking for an ICT Service Desk Analyst to join its ICT Service team and provide 1st Line ICT Support to the council staff, members, and partner organisations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering excellent customer services, call centre experience, and either experience in ICT or a proven interest in developing their ICT knowledge.
The role involves managing support requests, providing remote support, managing user accounts, enforcing security policies, and keeping up to date with technological advances.
The Service Desk team acts as the first point of contact for general ICT queries, faults, and requests. They should have a general understanding of day-to-day technologies including M365, Networking, Windows Device Management, Printing, and Cloud Services.
We are looking for motivated and interested individuals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Service Desk operations, excellent customer experience knowledge, and experience working in busy and unsupervised environments. They should actively work to maintain and update their technical knowledge and capabilities.
The successful candidate will have experience delivering and providing ICT support to end users, and excellent communication skills are critical. You will need to be self-motivated and able to work towards key deadlines.
