Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Primary

Pay: £100 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a supportive primary school in North Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HLTA looking to take on additional responsibility and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning.
The Role:
* Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Providing whole-class cover across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Leading targeted interventions to raise pupil attainment
* Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs
* Assisting with planning, preparation and assessment
* Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold HLTA status or an equivalent qualification
* Have recent experience within a UK primary school
* Be confident leading a class independently
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
* Be flexible, proactive and reliable
