Crisis Lead / Clinical Lead
Location: North West England
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (flexibility required, including on-call and travel)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and driven Crisis Lead / Clinical Lead to help deliver and maintain an industry-leading standard of care. This is a key leadership role where you will work closely with the Registered Manager and Head of Care to develop, implement, and oversee high-quality domiciliary care services.
You’ll play a central role in shaping service delivery, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care services
* Develop and implement care systems, policies, and procedures
* Oversee and audit care delivery to ensure compliance and excellence
* Manage, support, and supervise staff to maintain high performance
* Lead recruitment, induction, retention, and development of staff
* Assess individual care needs and oversee care planning documentation
* Liaise effectively with families, professionals, and external agencies
* Ensure compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
* Handle complaints and safeguarding concerns in line with policy
* Participate in an on-call rota and travel nationally as required
* Work closely with sales and mobilisation teams to support service growth
* Monitor performance and contribute to continuous service improvement
Requirements
* Registered Nurse qualification or NVQ Level 5 (or working towards)
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Experience in auditing and maintaining quality standards
* Proven ability in staff recruitment, development, and retention
* Sound knowledge of care legislation, safeguarding, and health & safety
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
