The Trust is looking to increase its number of Fire Safety Advisors and is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and enthusiastic individual to join the fire safety team, working across the Trust. This position will support the fire safety team in delivering comprehensive fire safety services and achieving team objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated person to promote sound fire safety practices across a diverse estate.

You will join a friendly, supportive, and innovative team dedicated to providing high-quality fire safety services. Responsibilities include advising on technical and legislative matters, monitoring fire safety standards across all Trust premises, leased, and PFI sites, including areas occupied by SPFT.
The role involves providing comprehensive fire management and training services, offering expert advice on fire-related issues to ensure statutory compliance.
Key duties include:
1. Conducting fire risk assessments and reviews in accordance with the Trust’s audit programme.
2. Making recommendations and prioritizing actions for fire safety improvements.
3. Promoting a culture of safety that enhances fire safety compliance and improves patient and staff experience.
4. Delivering fire safety training to staff at all levels, following NHS best practices.
Working within Estates & Facilities, you will support management and staff by fostering a positive fire safety culture and providing expert advice on fire safety matters, including risk assessments and compliance.
