Automotive Management Accountant Required in Croydon for Car Dealership Group
1. Pay: £50k - £70k Basic DOE
2. Hours: 9 - 6.00pm Monday - Friday
Are you an experienced automotive accountant looking to specialise further within dealership finance? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Management Accountant to join a reputable car dealership group in Croydon. This is a full-time, permanent role offering an attractive salary package, depending on experience, with the potential to earn up to £70,000 per annum.
As the Management Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage the dealership's financial processes with precision and efficiency. You will ensure finance is accurately closed down when a vehicle is purchased, handle parts invoices including processing supplier parts invoices onto their systems, and verify accounts before payments are issued. Additionally, you will oversee payroll processing and undertake various banking tasks to maintain seamless financial operations within the car dealership group.

Duties as Management Accountant will include:
8. Ensure finance is appropriately closed down when buying vehicles, including paying and closing finance deals
9. Process and check parts invoices, particularly parts invoices, onto the dealership's systems
10. Verify accounts before payments are made to ensure accuracy
11. Manage payroll functions in line with dealership procedures
12. Perform banking tasks, including deposits and withdrawals, to facilitate smooth financial transactions
13. Support other financial and administrative duties as required by the dealership management
Requirements that the Management Accountant will need:
14. Proven experience working within automotive or dealership accounting roles
15. Strong understanding of parts invoicing, payroll, and banking procedures specific to the motor trade
16. Ability to handle finance closing tasks efficiently
17. Attention to detail and high organisational skills
18. Knowledge of dealership finance systems and processes
19. Prior experience with invoice processing, payroll management, and financial reconciliation
