Senior or Principal Engineer (Civil / Structural)
Location: Ipswich or Norwich - plus Hybrid working Remote working considered on a case by case basis.
Salary: Fully negotiable dependant on level of experience plus package including profit share bonuses.
Summary
A successful multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is looking for a experienced and motivated Civil / Structural Engineering professional to join their team.
Based in their Ipswich or Norwich office with plenty of opportunity for hybrid working this role is ideal for individuals with a background in an engineering consultancy environment who are ready to take on their next challenge.
Working on predominantly rail civils, and to a smaller degree, civils structures projects. For example, platforms, canopies, bridges, buildings, retaining walls

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from initial concept through to the construction phase. - Perform and oversee design work related to, highways, rail and private sector projects. - Attend client and site meetings as needed. - Conduct surveys and site inspections. - Assist with staff training and mentor trainees and graduates.
Seeking some with:
- Experience in structural engineering in a relevant industry. Ie. Rail, Civils, Highways, Structures, Marine - UK based experience - Civil / Structural Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. - Strong communication skills and the ability to follow and interpret instructions clearly. - Track record of delivering projects through all design stages and construction. - Full driving license.
Ideally:
- Professionally qualified with the ICE or IStructE. - UK experience on similar projects. - Has experience of acting as CRE.
