Overview

We are seeking a Materials Management Team Member to join the team in Ware to support receive, put away, sample, dispense, pick, check, pack, and ship activities across materials management and clinical supply logistics.

The role supports the clinical supply chain that provides materials and IP products for GSK Clinical Studies. The position offers cross-training to support capacity fluctuations, ensure business continuity, and provide development opportunities.


Responsibilities

* Deliver work to an agreed service standard.
* Maintain a safe, compliant, productive environment.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure successful delivery.
* Provide Customer Service support.
* Plan, receive, sample, warehouse, dispense and ship materials to support activities in pilot plant, Packaging Operations, and Clinical Sites and Depots to ensure Patient Supply.
* Deliver compliant processes for relevant Global Distribution activities (cGxP receipt, storage, dispensing, picking, checking, packing, and shipping).
* Maintain orderly, safe, and compliant work areas.
* Participate in Performance and Development Planning.
* Ensure compliance with SOPs and cGxP and EHS requirements for facilities, equipment, documentation, materials, and processes.
* Work with customers and support teams to resolve urgent system and supply chain issues.
* Maintain Global Distribution facilities and equipment in compliance with GSK policies and regulatory requirements.
* Provide support for internal and external audits as required.
* Contribute to process improvements and best practices.
* Execute compliant cross-border shipment procedures and continuously improve operational efficiency, quality, safety, and cycle time.


Experience/Skills

* Solid knowledge of relevant tech systems (e.g., Comet, elogs).
* Ability to follow SOPs and escalate issues as needed.
* Customer- and people-focused with effective written and verbal communication.
* Understanding of compliance requirements for the area of responsibility.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate across and up to management and customers.
* Transportation and packaging knowledge; temperature monitoring and risk mitigation awareness.
* Attention to detail and initiative to complete tasks.
* Cross-border knowledge or awareness; supply chain security awareness.
* Ability to participate in product complaints/deviation investigations and contribute to SOP reviews.
