Duties
* Assisting clients getting out of the bed and assisting back to bed
* Supporting clients ensuring safety at all times
* Helping with meal preparation
* Light household cleaning
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided using IT systems
* Communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
* Driving between different locations for home care visits or transporting clients when necessary
* Ensuring the environment remains clean, safe, and comfortable for clients
Experience
* Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for those new to the sector
* Knowledge of care plans and procedures relevant to client support
* Good command of English, both written and spoken, to facilitate clear communication with clients and colleagues
* Strong communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and team members
* Valid driving licence is for roles involving travel between locations
