What will you be doing?
• Leading a team of production operatives on a daily basis
• Running daily SQCDP meetings and communicating targets and priorities
• Monitoring productivity, output and delivery performance
• Managing attendance, return to work meetings and performance reviews
• Investigating quality issues and customer complaints and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring accurate production data and reject reporting within systems
• Coordinating with other departments to meet delivery schedules
• Supporting health and safety compliance, audits and risk assessments
• Identifying training needs and coaching team members
• Driving continuous improvement activities including 5S, Kaizen and waste reduction
Where will you be doing it?
You will be joining a well established UK manufacturer producing engineered electrical and electro mechanical assemblies for a range of industrial customers, operating within a structured and quality focused production environment.
What will you need?
• Supervisory or team leadership experience within manufacturing or production
• Experience managing people, output and daily operational targets
• Understanding of quality, delivery and performance metrics
• Ability to investigate issues and implement corrective actions
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Basic IT skills for recording production and performance data
Desirable
• Experience within electrical, mechanical or assembly manufacturing
• Exposure to continuous improvement, 5S or lean manufacturing environments
• ERP or production system experience
